Summer School Fees
Eligible students will be invited to participate in reading, math, Extended School Year (ESY), and English as a Second Language (ESL) enrichment course opportunities. All other courses (academic recovery courses and enrichment courses) will require payment.
Advancement Summer School Courses will require a one-time, non-refundable $70 registration fee and the tuition fee for the specific course. Course Tuition Fees can be found on the Summer School Course Request Guide.
Electronic payment through the 911ÖÆÆ·³§ Web Store is preferred for advancement courses. For in-person payments, please contact the summer school office.
Additional Fees
Parents/guardians are responsible for all fees for Summer School. Returned check fee is $35.
Summer School Refund Policy
Summer School classes will be canceled when there is insufficient enrollment. If a Summer School class is canceled, the student will receive a refund for the course fee. When the canceled class is the only course or program for which the student is enrolled, the registration fee will also be refunded.
In all other instances, the registration fee will not be refunded, even if the student withdraws prior to the beginning of Summer School.
Course fee refunds will be made as follows: if withdrawal from the course is on or before April 30-100% of the course fee will be refunded; May 1 through May 28-50% of the course fee will be refunded. No refunds will be issued after May 28. No refunds will be given to students who are dropped for disciplinary actions or exceeding the maximum of two absences, per Summer School attendance procedures.
Student Financial Assistance
The District 202 Board of Education may award $200 to assist with Summer School expenses for 911ÖÆÆ·³§ students who are eligible for the free and reduced-price lunch program. Qualifying students must complete the steps listed on the Financial Assistance page. Counselors can provide 911ÖÆÆ·³§ students with information about financial assistance for Summer School.
