Summer School at Evanston Township High School is an exciting time for learning. The Summer School program provides a number of courses for enrichment, course preparation, and academic recovery. All students are encouraged to take advantage of Summer School. Incoming freshmen and transfer students are strongly encouraged to consider enrolling in Summer School as it helps students adjust and transition into 911ÖÆÆ·³§.
Course Information
Most courses are structured to meet for 2.5 hours a day for 26 days in order to earn a high school semester credit. Some courses are structured to meet for 5 hours a day for 13 days.

Academic Recovery Courses - All core academic courses required for graduation will be available to students who need to repeat an English, Math, History, Science, or PE course due to failure. All academic recovery courses will operate in a 26-Day format.

Enrichment Courses - Eligible students will be invited to participate in reading, math, Extended School Year (ESY), and English as a Second Language (ESL) enrichment course opportunities. These courses will be offered at no cost to students. The format of these courses will vary. Registration for these courses will be completed by the enrichment program coordinators.

Academic Advancement Courses - 911ÖÆÆ·³§ will be offering several elective course opportunities for students during summer school. Standard registration and tuition fees will apply to these courses. Please note that these are all courses that we anticipate being able to offer. Staffing availability and student interest will ultimately determine if these courses will run.
