The course will include learning math from a social justice lens as well as learning math in a format and structure that will allow students to construct meaning from the fundamental components of Algebra I as it relates to the social context. In addition, all students invited to take this comprehensive course will take part in various enrichment activities aligned with their work in reading and math.
