Military Careers

  • Many students look into enlisting in the military after high school.  The U.S. Armed Forces – including the Air Force, Army, Navy, National Guard, Marines, Coast Guard and Space Force – allow young people to enlist after graduation anytime after turning 18. 

    The following are the basic requirements for enlisting:

    • US Citizen or Resident Alien
    • Age 17-34
    • High School Diploma
    • Have no more than 2 dependents
    • Pass the ASVAB (Armed Services Aptitude Battery) Test
    • Pass the MEPS (Military Entrance Processing Station) Medical Exam

     

    911ÖÆÆ·³§ Military Visit Week - Every November (Veteran's Day Week) in College & Career Services W220

    ASVAB Exam- Offered once a year at 911ÖÆÆ·³§. Must be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior student to sit for the ASVAB Exam at 911ÖÆÆ·³§.

    SchooLinks- 911ÖÆÆ·³§ students can explore Military Careers, U.S. Military Academies, and the various ROTC programs on college campuses within SchooLinks.
