Department courses emphasize that all students can discover and appreciate mathematical ideas and can learn to see them as their own. Learning mathematics is an enjoyable pursuit and we hope our students have fun. It is our foremost concern that young people stretch to their fullest potential, become independent learners, become adept at using technology, and become comfortable in mathematical endeavors.
