- Finalize your college list
- Read over applications
- Create Common App account @ if you are applying to any Common App schools
- Start writing college essay(s). Ask for help from your English teacher and/or from College & Career Services.
- If you need a Counselor Recommendation Letter, complete the "Class of" Pre-Recommendation Survey found in your SchooLinks To Dos.
- Ask teachers to write a letter of recommendation if one or more of your schools require Teacher Recommendation Letter(s). Follow SchooLinks instructions.
- Attend College Representative Visits and/or visit college campuses virtually.
Early October

- Submit applications online for public, state schools and those schools with Priority Deadlines, Early Decision and/or Early Action.
- Request ACT and/or SAT Score Reports be sent directly to the schools to which you are applying from the testing agency ( or ), if required, or if a school is Test-Optional and you choose to send scores.
- Complete and submit a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as early as October 1.
- Attend College Representative Visits and/or visit college campuses.
November
