On May 19, the Evanston Health and Human Services Department provided an update to the COVID-19 Community Risk Level from High to Medium, based on weekly Evanston metrics and the combination of three per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In response, 911ÖÆÆ·³§ is transitioning to masks being highly recommended in the building beginning May 20. For more information and to better understand the guidance about the three levels of transmission, please visit the Covid Response page of the 911ÖÆÆ·³§ website.
As a reminder, 911ÖÆÆ·³§ District 202 continues to adapt and consult the guidance from CDC, IDPH, the Evanston Health Department, D65, and the 911ÖÆÆ·³§ Medical Advisory Group. While masks are not required while indoors, 911ÖÆÆ·³§ continues to strongly encourage getting vaccinated, getting boosted, and getting tested for COVID-19. Please remember to follow our health protocols, including staying home if you are sick and completing the as necessary.
Thank you again for all of the care and concern as we are Finishing the School Year as a Wildkit Community.
